MOB4ALL is a project that seeks to promote the transnational mobility of students with special needs through the capacity building of the different actors who can support these students in the context of international mobility for educational purposes.
MOB4ALL is a project funded under the Erasmus+ programme (KA2 Strategic Partnerships) that seeks to promote the transnational mobility of students with special needs through the capacity building of the different actors who can support these students in the context of international mobility for educational purposes (Professors, staff members from International Relations Offices/mobility officers, staff members from other specialised units and tutor students/buddies).
By establishing cooperation among Consortium members, the project will transform the participant HEIs environments through the development and sharing of individual-centred practices and protocols, thus reducing the inequality of access to resources and opportunities in Higher Education.
MOB4ALL objectives are:
The Report on Inclusive Mobility at EU level seeks to raise awareness on the needs of students with disabilities and to identify transferable successful practices and procedures leading to an increase in the quality and number of students with special needs participating in transnational mobility activities for educational purposes. It will present successful experiences at EU level and describing the needs of students with disabilities, thus laying the basis for the development of upcoming project activities by enabling a better understanding of the different needs and possible intervention and procedural approaches to better support their transnational mobility.
The implementation of O1 will be achieved through the following activities:
O1.A1 – Definition of research methodology and templates
O1.A2 – Analysis of case studies and inspiring practices related to inclusive mobility (students with special needs)
O1.A3 – Preparation of the report “Inclusive Mobility: Supporting Students with Special Needs at EU level”
Targeting different actors who can support students with disabilities in the context of international mobility for educational purposes, the Specialised Training Course “Training for Better Integration of Mobility Participants with Disabilities” will impact on Professors, staff members from International Relations Offices/mobility officers, staff members from other specialised units and tutor students/buddies. This will be attained by providing them the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and competences to guide, accommodate, support and integrate mobility students with special needs.
The implementation of O2 will be achieved through the following activities:
O2.A1 – Design of Training Course structure and methodology of implementation and evaluation.
O2.A2 – Preparation of training course contents and materials
O2.A3 – Prototyping the MOB4ALL Specialised Training Course
O2.A4 – Collection of Results and Fine-tuning
The development and prototyping of the Specialised Training Course “Training for Better Integration of Mobility Participants with Disabilities” will contribute to the development of guidelines to support mobility officers, academic and non-academic staff, and tutor students/buddies in adopting and implementing procedures to guide, accommodate, support and integrate mobility students with disabilities.
The implementation of O3 will be achieved through the following activities:
O3.A1 – Definition of the Guidelines structure
O3.A2 – Development of Guidelines for Mobility Officers, Academic and Non-Academic Staff, and Tutor Students
O3.A3 – Translation and publishing of the MOB4ALL Guidelines for Mobility Officers, Academic and Non-Academic Staff, and Tutor Students
